Recipe: Where Land Meets Sea

Hi! I’m Meaghan – Creative Director at Jenni Kayne, dog mom, foodie, homebody, and lover of all things design-related. I was raised in Washington state and have spent my adult life back and forth between Seattle and California.

Being raised amongst the beautiful mountains in Washington and having access to the many islands our state has to offer, I have always drawn inspiration from the outdoors and it has bled into all aspects of my life. This meal was no exception. Nothing makes me happier than fresh seafood, natural wine, and a table set by the water. When I told Ali the elements I wanted to incorporate, she immediately knew her mom’s famous clam dish would be perfect. I invited some friends to one of my favorite islands in Washington, we set the table with Jenni Kayne, and I served the dish alongside warm bread and orange wine.
